Brother cartridges are becoming popular, in particular the LC 02 black, yellow, cyan and magenta.
They consist of separate high capacity black, cyan, magenta and yellow reservoirs (‘tanks’) containing separate sponges and void sections.
As easy as it is to refill them, Brother cartridges require a bit more handling than others. We include a pair of gloves with each kit. While some users simply do not use the gloves, with these Brother cartridges we recommend to use them. There is no hidden message here, nor the implication that rivers of ink may flow through your fingers tainting them with indelible marks. But you have to turn the cartridge(s) upside down, seal off the ink path hole etc. There is a sequence of a few simple steps one at a time. These are high capacity cartridges and need a bit of extra care in handling.
As always, once you get the knack of it, the previous caution may prove un-necessary.
